Hancock Forest Management NZ

Hancock Forest Management NZ used an Everyday Work Learning Team approach to find out why one of its operations performed so well.

Understanding why things go right

The company's health and safety committee had noticed that forestry operations in the Tiaki Forest Estate were performing very well on both production and health and safety.

The company wanted to know why this part of the business was doing so well, so it could share the lessons with the rest of its business.

So, it decided to adopt a ‘Safety II’ approach and to set up Everyday Work Learning Teams.
